Centring a fabric design

We get continuous interest in Sanderson’s  Cluny ( https://www.sanderson-uk.com/shop/fabric/classic-linens/cluny/?code=DKH16C201&act=ssocomplete) from the Classic Linen Collection – particularly when it comes to re-upholstery and cushions. With the nature of the design and the large vertical pattern repeat of 45 cm it’s essential that the fabric is ‘centred’ on any piece of work. It just wouldn’t look professional any other way! Here’s a chair we re-covered in this traditional fabric, with the ‘griffin’ on the mid-line of the inside and outside back. Again – on cushions, the pattern has to be ‘centred’ to do the design justice – http://crescentupholstery.co.uk/product/sanderson-cluny/.
